What should I expect during a cupping treatment?
During a cupping treatment, a cup is placed on the skin and then heated or suctioned onto the skin. The cup is often heated with fire using alcohol, herbs, or paper that’s placed directly into the cup.
The fire source is removed, and the heated cup is placed with the open side directly on your skin. Some modern cupping practitioners have shifted to using rubber pumps to create suction, versus more traditional heat methods.
When the hot cup is placed on your skin, the air inside the cup cools and creates a vacuum,
that draws the skin and muscle upward into the cup. Your skin may turn red as the blood vessels respond to the change in pressure. With dry cupping, the cup is set in place for a set time, usually between 5 and 10 minutes.
Any mild bruising or other marks usually go away within 10 days of the session.

Dry Needling Treatment
Dry needling is a modern treatment designed to ease muscular pain. Its popularity is growing.
During dry needling, a practitioner inserts several filiform needles into your skin. Filiform needles are fine, short, stainless steel needles that don’t inject fluid into the body. That’s why the term “dry” is used.
Practitioners place the needles in “trigger points” in your muscle or tissue. Dry needling is also sometimes called intramuscular stimulation. The points are areas of knotted or hard muscle.
Dry needling practitioners say the needle helps release the knot and relieve any muscle pain or spasms. The needles will remain in your skin for a short period of time. The length of time depends on the practitioner. Some healthcare professionals, such as physical therapists and massage therapists, receive some training in dry needling.

Float Therapy
Inside the floatation tank is 550 kg of Epsom salts and when added to 700 litres of water, creates a 30 cm deep solution, which is heated to 36.5 degrees C (skin temperature) making it super buoyant.
The buoyancy created by the dense Epsom-salt solution, effectively removes the effects of gravity on the body and brings you close to an experience, of total weightlessness. Unless you are an astronaut, this is the only situation you will encounter, where your body is free from gravity.

Your body absorbs an abundance of healthy minerals, such as magnesium and sulphates, through the skin. Both minerals are available in Epsom salt. One hour in the Dreampod will allow you to supplement your body’s requirement of magnesium.
Though your body is deeply relaxed and at rest, the experience is not passive: Floating actively accelerates the body's own healing and recovery process.
No matter how long you float, your skin will not form any wrinkles that are normally associated with prolonged water soaking.
